Made at the equipment and maintenance development center of the University, the ventilator had a team of Engineers headed by the Dr. Put their heads together to come up with the novel production. This is a sequel to the wonderful manual ventilator made by a 200 level student, Usman Dalhatu of the same institution and supervised by Dr Kaisan himself.
Moreso, the new motorized Ventilator believed to have taken over a month to assemble was made with unique features. In a video uploaded on Facebook today, Dr Kaisan revealed the machine was made considering clinical requirements of a standard ventilator.
It has a display unit on the top that indicates the pressure and temperature of the patient as well as the volume of air going into the body per minute.

A Bacterial and Viral filter that will filter out any possible bacteria before air is transported into the patient.

There’s the oxygen tank which is connected to the humidifier so that dry air isn’t transfered into the patient but is moisturized at a clinically acceptable humidity level.

Then finally this can be transferred to the patient’s lungs through and adjustable and optimized calibration valve for both children and adults.

This is a welcomed development as for many years we’ve have our students go into school and still end up doing nothing productive after studying professional course.
