A chieftain of the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, Buba Galadima, has argued that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, is not in the race for the 2023 presidency (Daily Trust).

Galadima who made this argument in a recent interview, while speaking on how the PDP candidate had been sending prominent persons to try and ask the NNPP presidential candidate, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, to step down and support him (Atiku), alluded to the fact that the former Vice President lacked the needed capacity to win the presidency and as such, was not in contention for the top job.
In the NNPP Chieftain’s words; “We will defeat Atiku in Jada Local Government of Adamawa state. Atiku is not in this race (for the 2023 presidency). Yes on paper he is but he is not a candidate. How would he win, through what?”
