We Are Not Bothered About Filling Up Stadiums But Filling The Hearts Of Nigerians- Datti Ahmed
Yusuf Datti Baba Ahmed, the Vice Presidential Candidate for the Labor Party, stated that having a full stadium is not the goal; rather, the goal is to fill the hearts of Nigerians.
It is no longer surprising to learn that Datti and his boss, Peter Gregory Obi, have been touring the country in preparation for the presidential election in February by holding a number of rallies
Datti, when asked about the acceptance that the party has been getting at various venues, said that it has been encouraging and overwhelming, and that the party is proud of its supporters. Datti made these comments while speaking on Channels TV.
He stated that the most essential factor, in addition to the party’s success in filling venues, is the success of the party in filling the hearts of Nigerians.
After being questioned, he “Do you mean to say that all of the available spaces have been taken, just as you anticipated?
He remarked “That is not the case at all; in fact, the response that we have received from our venues has been overwhelmingly positive. The problem is that some of the locations we were given are not what we wanted. For instance, in Kebbi, we were given a location for a horse race that was extremely large; as a result, we were required to take a portion of the location, and we used it to its full capacity. Aside from that, I want to break away from the way Nigerians typically think about how to fill a space. What about making the Nigerian people feel loved and cared for? We are of the opinion that it is more important to win the hearts of Nigerians, as it is the people of Nigeria who make up the nation, than it is to fill stadiums.
